Wickham Morris is a Morris side based at Wickham in Hampshire. Morris is a form of traditional English folk dance, and Wickham is near the middle of the English south coast.

Wickham Morris welcome you to this site and would love to see you at any of our events - see our diary for our current season. Or please mail us - see our contacts page - especially if you would like to book us for your event or wish to join us. We dance at pubs, charity events and also for commercial events and each year we donate over £1000 charity from these sessions. When not elsewhere, we meet each Thursday in Shedfield, near Wickham and end up singing in the Wheatsheaf down the road - so come and join us at this super pub.

This year, 2020 sees Wickham Morris's 39th birthday and we have a history both of ourselves and also about the history of Morris dancing itself. Or if you like your information visually, see our super gallery of pictures of us over the years.

See our dances page for information on the dances and the music we use. We have included a small sample on this page which we recorded. Click here to hear a snippet from our great band. Or you could see a short video of us dancing Duck and Dive by clicking here or see us on You tube dancing the Battle of New Orleans.

In September 2020, we received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Community Trust.

Postcode Community Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community

Wickham Morris received £500 which will be used to help with the rental for our practice hall.

For more information and to find out how to apply for a similar funding, please go to the Magic Little Grants webpage:- https://localgiving.org/magic-little-grants

Here at Wickham Morris we planned our usual world tour, before the COVID 19 lockdown.

In light of the current situation and well-being of our members, Wickham Morris have decided to cancel all of our bookings for the remainder of the current season.

However if an opportunity were to arise in the late summer, we will update this web site with the details.

Thank you for your support and we will see you all again in 2021, our 40th birthday.

Please note that events on the above printed programme may be subject to cancellation or change.

Please see our Diary page for the latest information.
